What is the exact text of the error message when "it can't find the boot
media"? Is the hard drive seen in the BIOS?

If the hard drive isn't seen, then there is no point in reinstalling
Windows until you've determined what is wrong - either with the hard
drive and/or with the motherboard.

We'll need more information to help you, so let us know the exact text
of any error messages and what you see in the BIOS. A description of
your computer (brand, approx. age, recent history) would be useful, too.
Remember that we can't see your computer so you have to help us help you.
