My Computer folder

my images do not show in 'my pictures' and 'my documents....instead there is
a picture of a yellow folder instead of my image

The "My..." folders aren't real... they're there for older programs to
help them find their way.

Look in "Documents", or "Pictures" in C:\Users\yourname\
