My Computer does not list all items

A lot of times when I click on "My Computer" it does not
give me all devices and the computer becomes frozen. Any
one experience this?

If you type net use in a command line, do you see any
disconnected/unavailable drive mappings? Stuff that points to unavailable
resources?
