My computer beeping with some newer software

Dear specialists,
My computer makes very quiet beep, when minimizing or restoring down MSN
Messenger Window (7.5 and 8.1), Skype 3.0 window (skype 2.5 doesn´t beep),
Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Windows Media player 10 windows. Opera
beeps when Plug-In´s are allowed, but doesn´t beep when Plug-in´s are
disabled.

My quite old Computer: Windows XP Home SP2, P4 2,0GHz, Abit SA7, 512MB RAM,
Radeon 7500.

if your computer is working correctly, then the sound is just the normal sound for open/close programs.
if it is that bothersome, you can turn it off or change it to something else using Control Panel - Sounds. scroll down to find the appropriate sound and fix it.

Thank you for help, but it still beeps, although I picked the scheme "No
Sounds". It is very quiet sound, not the loud sound, that Windows makes. Can
it be potentially harming or shouldn´t I pay attention to it?

Even though you picked a "no sounds" sound scheme, go to Control Panel >
Sounds and Audio Devices, click on the Sounds tab and go through the
"Program events" list until you find the event associated with the sound
you're hearing. You can play each sound as you go through by clicking
the "Play" button (right arrow) next to the "Browse" button.

Thank you Lem,

This sound comes from computer, not from hearing system. I opened case and
it came somewhere close to motherboard, not from hard disk or CD device.
May-be I should listen to more closely. Windows sounds work very well, I
listened to them.
First I thought that it was dust problem, but it wasn´t.
