My Computer Appears at Start Uo .. Why?

I am not aware of any selection that I've unintentionaly made, but a 'My
Computer' Window appears open on my desktop at the end of every start up.
(nothing in the 'Start Up' folder to request it)

This has happened once some time ago, but disappeared again without
explanation.

Not the Worlds biggest Windows problem, but can anyone help explain so that
I can stop it ?

There are other places to look other than the Start-up folder.

Go to Start -> Run and type in MSConfig. Click the startup tab, and
uncheck anything you don't wan't starting.

open your Registry Editor (regedit). Go to
'HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run' and
'HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\runonce' anything
listed here will also start up automatically.
