My comp keeps shutting down and realoding every time I play a game

a XP to years ago and I up loaded AIM and games. Well my
family sent it back to the factory to get it restored and
when it came back it didn't work at ALL HELP!!!!!!!!! I
mean any game I play shuts down in less then 5 mins. And
my comp has been frezzing alot. It shuts down by itself.
I curently have no games on it but it still doesn't work

See if this block is checked if it is uncheck it.

go to control panel>system and click on the advanced tab,
under startup and recovery click the settings tab,under
system failure uncheck "automatically restart"
The freezing might be indexing service?
This is under Admin tools>services, stop the service then
disable it.
