MVL Install of Windows XP Tablet Edition

O

Oscar

Hey Guys...

I have a question for any Microsoft Volume License
customer out there that has Windows Xp Tablet PC Edition
CD's.

The OS install comes in two CD's, I've installed CD 1
which installs the OS, which is XP pro how ever CD 1
never asked for CD 2 durring the install for the Tablet
apps/componets?????

I browsed CD 2 and there is a CAB file???? I look in the
CAB file and no where does it have an installer or a
setup file.

Has anyone ran into this or knows what I need to do? I
called MS and they want to charge me to tell me and they
refer me to this web site however Tablet PC Edition is
not a retail product, it's an OEM or a Volume License
product as far a CD installs and not pre installed on a
tablet.

Any help would be great!

If you use a tablet PC code to install, it will ask for the second CD to
install those components. If you use an XP code, it will default to xp
without the additional components. If it's not asking for the CD, it seems
that you aren't using the right cd key during installation.
