Hi,
I need to configure two ip addresses on a single NIc so users change use their laptops at our offices with two different internet access.

Probably best to re-ask in newswgroups more closely associated with
networking, e.g. microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web.
That being said, I always thought that single NIC can have only one IP
address. However, can't you use hardware profiles to make different
settings. Also, why not use DHCP so that no matter where they dock
their laptops to the network, they get a locally issued address?
In your posting, you may wish to elaborate more on what the problem is
that you are working. You've jumped to a solution, but without knowing
your problem, my hunch is there is a better solution out there.
