Muting Video Clips

Hi I am wondering if any1 can help. I have created a project with clips of
videos of my baby. I want to add music to this video but it won't let me
mute each clip. I have tried to delete the music clip and again it is not
muting the actual video clip on the story board. If any1 can help it will be
appreciated........thanx

Switch to the 'timeline' view. Right click on the audio
portion of the clip you want to mute (on the timeline) and
click 'mute'. If you insist on doing it from the storyboard
view, change the volume of clip to the bottom of the range.

If you can't see the audio portion that alter is referring to look at the
beginning of the timeline where it says video.
It should be expandable (showing either a - or a +) click the + to expand
the view so you can see the audio portion of the video.
Then you can right click and mute as Walter said.
