Muting Audio

I imported a completed music video, which separated into 10 clips, into an
empty project but I can't mute the audio in the clips. How do I do that?

(I can't go into the original project because I deleted it a long time ago.
Which is why I imported the completed video itself, into a new project.)

FWIW...if you do not want the individual clips...
uncheck the box...Create Clips For Video Files...
on the File Import Screen.

To mute the audio...go to...Timeline view...Drag
the video file to the timeline and...right click /
mute the Audio track.

If you do not see the Audio track...left click the
+ next to Video track to expand it.
