muting the video soundtrack

When I recorded my audio with the movie the option "mute
video soundtrack" was not highlighted, I couldn't click on
it to mute the sound from the video. How do I mute it?
 
In the timeline view - make sure the video track is expanded to show the 3
sub-tracks (video, transitions, audio), right click the audio of the clips
you want to mute, and mute them.
