Mute Video Soundtrack

I have videos that have audio in it and want to have the audio in the video
muted. However, whenever I go to the record narration option, the "mute
video soundtrack" is grayed out and I can't click that option. It would be
greatly appreciated if someone could tell me how to resolve this problem.

You don't mute the audio associated with the video in the narration
wizard.... you do it on the timeline. Right click the audio part of the clip
and select mute.... when you do a project that uses the clip.

This is an easy one. Make sure you are looking at your movie in the timeline,
then underneath the video, right click on the audio track, and then choose
"mute".
