MUTE ALL

doesn't it MAKE SENSE that if you have a phone call or somethig, and you
click 'MUTE ALL' it would mute EVERY SPEAKER?

when you click MUTE on your TV, it doesn't still let the Commercials play
sound.

SIMPLIFY THIS MICROSOFT

Microsoft can't fix it. Any PC requires BIOS to initiate the boot up
of the computer. BIOS hands off control of the computer to XP to
fully load the OS.
The "Beep" has nothing to do with Windows. BIOS beeps codes
are there to help diagnose issues when a PC will not boot up.
Look at it from the other side - If your Video card died and you
could not see the BIOS post screen, the beeps would indicate that
Video is not functioning. Turn off the Beep and you'll spend hours if
not days trying to figure out what is wrong.
But just so you know, future specifications for Personal Computers
will probably not have traditional BIOS like in today's systems.

Read all the other posts and learn this is not a Microsoft issue.
Do you want proof?
Power off your computer and remove all drives with any type of operating
system.
Then power on.
You will still hear the beeps.
Do you still blame Windows after Windows is not an issue?
Windows has not loaded yet and therefore there is nothing Microsoft or any
other OS can ever do for you and this issue.

This is the typical PEBKAC issue.
Research that in detail and you will solve that as well as possibly a great
many other issues.

Open your computer case, reach in and pull the two wires out of the small
speaker in the bottom of your computer. No more beeps.

Stop feeding the troll!

If you knew as much as you thought you know,
You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!

30? At HOME?!?!?!? You certainly don't act like you have used a Windows
PC for more than 30 days. I think perhaps you are trolling?

Are you saying you want it to MUTE your cell phone too?!? You really
need to get in touch with reality, CONTEXT is part of that reality.
