This is the message I get when I try to download the musteck 1200 UB
onto xp

You need to use the link to go to the Mustek website, then download ALL the
files needed for Windows XP and put them in a separate folder. Once they
are all downloaded, click on the .exe file and it will run the program that
will combine all those files into a setup file.

From the link I provided earlier, there is a link to instructions for
installing the driver under Windows XP.

You need to download all six files in the original link to the same folder
on your computer:
Web.EXE, Web.W01, Web.W02, Web.W03, Web.W04 and Web.W05.

After you have all six files, click on Start | Run and browse to the folder
where you downloaded all six files and run Web.EXE.

But follow each of the steps in the above link, especially that you should
disconnect your scanner from the computer before beginning.
