I would like to have a Music Studio that takes up my entire
Desktop. Where I could adjust the properties and quality of
the sound and add different ambient sounds etc.

Most Music Studios are bigger than a desktop.

Is this the kind of thing your after? I've found this to be very good.
The only thing it lacks is midi support.
