Music Properties

I've got a dilemma. Whenever I access the properties portion of an MP3, the
ActiveMovie program opens up. (Remember them?) Apparently, it won't let you
change any information on the properties column, nor can you delete the file,
as it is now in use by ActiveMovie. The message reads, and I quote...
"Changes to Summary properties could not be saved. The file is in use by
another application." I noticed also that there's a _third_ tab, which I
noticed had the same soundbite embedded in the properties section via
ActiveMovie. So much for that.

What I like to know is if anyone had this problem before and if there's a
way to keep it from happening in the future. Thank you in advance.

I had never heard of ActiveMovie before, but I used Google.

A trick that may be worth trying is: copy the file, change the properties of
the copy and replace the original with the copy when possible. "When
possible" is up to you to find out: making sure that ActiveMovie isn't
active, switching Users for the moment, use Safe Mode...

Maybe this will be of help. How to Remove and Reinstall ActiveMovie
from Internet Explorer. If you want ActiveMovie you can reinstall.
