Music playing fast!

B

Bill Toward

This is a real weird problem, so I hope someone out there
can help.

When I insert a music CD in my CD-RW or DVD drives, the
music plays faster than it should.

Have tried all kinds of diagnostics and I have searched
loads of databases, but found no solution yet.

Can you help?

Best regards

If your using windows media player 9 it should be
something as easy as the speed settings in media player
itself. there is a bar slider in that you can adjust.
Goto: View, Enhancements, then 'Play Speed Settings'

that should be it?. :| :)

Nothing is simple.

1) I followed the advice of someone on p 4 and installed
MusicMatch Jukebox from the PC World web site. The music
still played fast.
2) Adjusting the speed setting as advised below slows
down the music, but the frequency of the voices is still
too high. It seems that the 'voice track' slows down
with the frequncy dropping.

I can't find anything that works.
