Music is slowed down in wmp9

I have Win XP and WMP9. I have listened to some mp3s in
wmp9 and it sounds like shit. The songs sound like they
are slowed down yet the play speed is set to normal. They
just sound sound like this at the beginning of the songs.
Sounds alright on rap, but not on country.

Hi,

I've got exactly the same problem. The first few seconds
of any mp3 playback are ok then the playback pitch drops
even though the setting is normal. Have you found a
solution to this?
