Music Folder Thumbnail Art

I'm having major issues with my Music Folder album art.
The folder is organised so that each artist has a folder, and within this
are separate folders for each album by that artist. This I guess i spretty
standard.
In the old XP My Music an artist folder would display multiple thumbnail
images that were pulled from each of the album folders within it.
In vista I'm having problems getting this to happen.
All the music is on a separate partition that I have pointed vista too. Any
old folders that were set up before my change to vista are still showing
album art as described above. So for example the beetles folder has about 3
images of different albums stacked behind one another. When you go down to
the next level each album folder displays one album image.
The problem comes with new folders made since vista was installed.
For these I can go into the album folder add album art, rename it folder.jpg
and it will show up at the album folder level.
However when I go back up to the artist level there is nothing. Just a
standard empty folder icon.
I have googled it this problem to death and cannot find out how to tell the
artist folder to pull its folder images from the one or more album folders
beneath it.
If anyone can tell me how to do this I would be incredibly grateful.
I know it's not exactly a major problem, but for me it's really annoying.

.......in Vista if you have a lot of music folders like I have about 60 GB and
if you want that for each album folder to show the correct album art I would
advise that the folder contains 2 hidden files which are jpg files of the
album art image.
The 1st file schould be called AlbumArtSmall.jpg in (75x75) and the 2nd
file should be called Folder.jpg in (200x200).
At least that is what worked in my case because about 500 different folders
were each contains 1 album Vista was mixing that up.
By the way the 2 hidden system file are created automically when you assign
album art for your MP3's using Windows Media Player.
Hope that helps.......

Just in case anyone is having a similar problem, I managed to fix this last
night.
The problem was that the newly made artist folders had no Thumbs.db in them.
No diea why they didn;t, but they didn't.
I just got around this by copying the thumbs.db from one of the working
artist folders into the new ones. Voila. Working album images at all levels
of the folder structure.
