Vista keeps chainging my folder view

I go into a folder and get the following colums
Album Artist, Genre, #, Rating. I don't want any of this rubbish. I
only want date Modified which is missing. I remove this and put in
Date Modified. Next time I go to my PC they are back again and Date
Modified is gone WHY WHY WHY.

Whats this about
I opened cmd "as administrator" and it worked to perfection.

I am at home with only one PC what is this Administrator rubbish I am
amn't I

No that dosn't work. If I get windows 7 will I have the same crap?

Windows 7 seems to be better about remembering Explorer views than does
Vista. All versions seem to lose their mind about it occasionally, even
XP.

Yes - and no.

I could try to explain but it's a long explanation - and a better
explanation than I can give is already there on your computer. Just press
Start, type Help and press Enter. Then type "administrator" and press Enter
again.
