Been running Vista for nearly a year now. Just went to my
infrequently visited recycle bin to pull back a file and was suprised
by the view. Instead of seeing file name, source folder, date deleted
types of info, it looks like a Media Player catalog listing: file
name, artist, album, #, genre, and rating. Nowhere to be found any
indication of where the file came from (where it would be restored to)
or when it was deleted.

Surely I'm missing something, but what?

You can manually select the right columns again, but when things get screwed
up like that, it's often less hassle to reset all folders of that type in
Folder Options. I hate it when that happens, and I cannot believe they
still have not sorted that out in nearly a decade.
