music cd won't autoplay - one solution

I had a problem with playing music cds and have them autoplay with media
player with no interaction on my part.

I had checked all the great tips from everyone here to no avail. However, I
did have ACDC graphics program installed and its icon in the taskbar. I use
it for downloading pictures from my digital camera. I don't know why, but I
removed it from the taskbar.. and now I can insert my music cds and have
them go directly to media player and play.

This is one solution and hope it might help someone out!

WTC.. like I mentioned, everything was tried. ACDSee actually had in the
help file a sentence that running the program would cancel out Windows
autoplay.
