Multitasking IE-6

I can get multipul windows open when I am on the
internet. If I try the original window closes and a new
one opens. Does anyone no what the trouble is???

Harry,
Open IE and go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS and click on the ADVANCED tab
at the top and scroll down till you see "REUSE windows for launching
shortcuts" and UN-check it and hit APPLY and OK..

I had this same problem. Open a second IE window and the
first would close, or click on a link to open in a new
window, it would open but the first would close.

On my computer MSN Messenger was loaded at start up. I
went into msconfig and deselected "msnmsgr" from the start
menu. I can now open any number of IE windows. Hope
this helps.
