multiple windows - won't maximize

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When i click a link from my primary browser page, it
opens up on my toolbar but I have to maximize the page
every time. I would like it to open up automatically
which is what it did until just recently.

Hi,

1. Open a link.
2. Don't use the maximize button.
3. Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
4. Close all other IE windows.
5. Close the stretched window last.

However, the above procedure is not equivalent to SHOWMAXIMIZED API call.
Best option is to use "IE New Window maximizer"
