Multiple windows open Iexplorer

Hi,
I am having a real problem at work. I have windows 200 pro at work. The problem is when ever I open internet exporer, and go to any site, multiple windows start opening one by one, and they don't stop until my all memory has used up. If i have none in the home address then when I click on internet explorer it opens fine because there is not website to show, the location is just blank, but when I enter any web site, then it just start. I am using netscape now, becuase this is working fine, but I really have to use internet explorer for my work purpose. Could some please HELP me..
