multiple web pages

usually when i open explorer i can then minimize the
first screen double click again and view a second screen
to see 2 web pages at one time now it will not open a
second window even if i am at a web page and viewing
something there that i need to open a second screen it
instead opens up right on the same screen and whips out
the other screen so i cant switch back and forth or get
back to it if anyone knows how i can fix this please

From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

And... you have a program running which is blocking pop-up windows-
something like Yahoo companion, Google toolbar, a firewall, Earthlink (or
another) pop-up blocker, etc.
With some programs of this type, using Ctrl+click or Shift+click will allow
a new window.
