Multiple Users

I have a database that is built on tables (linked to ~16MB spreadsheet of raw
data)

The forms that I have created as the main user interface uses a subquery of
the data to display filtered results. I have a user group of about 30
people. I get error messages when more than one person is trying the query
in the same form. is there a way around this?

thanks in advance for the info.
 
the error is along the lines of: cannot open file "..." , it is already
being used exclusively by another user.
