Multiple users can have internet open

When one user on my pc has Internet Explorer open, other users logged on
cannot start IE. An error window comes up with a banner that says Microsoft
Visual C++ Runtime Library, and the error message says: Runtime Error
C:/Program Files/IE/iexplorer.exe.

How can this be fixed?

Compare these lines:
C:/Program Files/IE/iexplorer.exe (your post)
c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe (standard installation)

Apart from the incorrect slashes, I note that you quote a different
folder and a different file name. I wonder if you have a rogue
installation of Internet Explorer.

If all else fails then you can download and re-install IExplore
from the site below, or use Firefox.

Thanks for the reply. I did not include the exact language. It should read:
Runtime error C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe. After cloing
the window I get a prompt to report this to Microsoft. I did for a while but
nothing came of it. Still think I might have a rogue IE application?

It pays to report the exact error message you see on the
screen, not just some vague approximation. I would
download and re-install Internet explorer.
