I have two users on WIndows XP (home). Mine works fine, but when my wife goes
to her account, she gets an error window when trying to run Internet Explorer
or Windows Explorer. It says :
_____________________________________________________________
Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
Program c:\program files\internet explorer\iexcplore.com
this program has requested the Runtime to terminate it in a n unusual way.

As stated above, take a look at the installed toolbars. The Google toolbar
can cause issues like this sometimes.

I am also having the identical problem with IE6. It appears that my system
will no longer allow two instances of Internet Explorer to be open. A work
around is to close IE before switching users. I have scanned with System
File Checker and Anti Spyware Beta and found no problem. Also, McAfee does
not find a virus. Have you found a solution yet?
