multiple usb scanners of same type on one machine

Hello Newsgroup,

We are trying to connect 3 usb scanners to one machine and use
all three of them, if possible, parallel.

The current setup is Windows XP with three flatbed
scanners CanoScan 3200F,
the problem is that I can access only one of them under XP.

I´d like to keep the CanoScans 3200F, I can change to other
hardware or operating systems

any tips are welcome,

I suggest you take a look at this. Perhaps the problem has been corrected
with subsequent updates or patches, but I don't know for certain.
