I need to add numerous individual text boxes to a Powerpoint slide. Is there
a way to do that without having to reselect the Text Box cursor from the
Drawing tool bar each time?

If you double click on the text box icon in the drawing toolbar it becomes
'sticky' and will stay on until you click the icon to turn it off.

Hope this helps,
Martha

Probably the easiest way is to draw your first one, type in the desired
text, press ESCAPE to select the text box, then press CTRL+D to duplicate it
the number of times you need. Of course you could also try this to align
them better. Create your first textbox, type in the text, press ESCAPE to
select it, press CTRL+D once to create a duplicate, drag it down and to the
left where you want it, then press CTRL+D to duplicate others with the same
alignment and spacing.

Hope that helps!
