Multiple sound files, please help me

I'm working on a presentation for my daughters graduation, I inserted a song from a file for the first 10 slides, I want a different song for the next 10 slides..... when I went to insert a different song the icon comes up, but nothing plays??!! I'm getting frustrated, tried everything I can think of. I have put in for my first song to play from slide 1 to slide 10, so why can't I get my second song to start playing on slide 11? Are you only allowed on song per slide show??? That would seem weird! Any help....... thanks so much.
