Is there a way to get two or more in-text reference marks per footnote?

You can insert a cross-reference to the footnote. In the Cross-reference
dialog box, choose "Footnote" for "Reference type," and choose "Footnote
number (formatted)" for "Insert reference to."

I should've thought of that. But since I didn't I am grateful for your post.
Thanks!

Note that these are ordinary cross references, so they don't
automatically update when the footnote number changes -- you have to
F9 them.

Switching to Print Preview and then back to your favorite view should also
work.
