Multiple Microsoft connections

At our Company we use Windows 2000, we also use a product called N2H2 for internet filtering. Would anyone know why on one computer (all are set up alike) it shows that is is constantly connected to the Microsoft website? Most people average 0-200 hits weekly to various sites. But this one computer is showing 10,000 hits to microsoft alone weekly. All she does on microsoft a couple times a week is gets clip art. But other people do too. She shuts down explorer but it still logs. What setting am I missing

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks. But we have checked all computers for virus'. We also have Computer associates antivirus running. It is updated daily.
 
Check for spyware using Spybot Search & Destroy and AdAware. Do search
for them, they're freeware.
