With I.E. set as my default viewer for JPG files, I used
to be able to open multiple JPG files (either one at a
time or selecting several at one time) in one browser
window. Once I had loaded in all of the JPG's that I
wanted to view I would use the forward or backward button
to look at each picture.
I think I.E. version 5.0 may have been the last version I
could do this with. I don't remember if I could do this
with version 5.5 or not. However, time marches on and I've
been using version 6.0 for some time now. How do I get
version 6.0 to do the same thing as my version 5.0? Is
there a plug-in if version 6.0 doesn't have a way to do
this?
If I highlight one or several JPG files, from an email
attachment or out of a folder, I.E. launches one browser
window for EACH file. Un-believably inconvenient. Now that
I think about it, all of the new Microsoft Office programs
(at least Word and Excel) open multiple Word or Excel
windows for each file you open. Again, I dislike this
behavior immensely.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Dean
