a jpg file views OK on Win XP, but not on Win 2K

I have a jpg file at:
http://www.ee.duke.edu/~ag/lg012.jpg.

The file loads just fine in either IE 6.0 or Mozilla
on my Windows XP system at work.

However, it doesn't load in either on my Windows 2000
system at home. In IE 6.0, I just get the little
box with the red X in it. In Mozilla, I get the
following error:

The image "http://www.ee.duke.edu/~ag/lg012.jpg" cannot
be displayed, because it contains errors.
---

Can anyone help resolve this, or at least confirm
whether or not it works on Windows 2000?

Since you are asking a question about a particular OS
it might be a good idea to ask the question in a newsgroup
which specializes in that OS.

On another tack what happens if you save the image or send it
in an E-mail? Do you still have the same symptoms then?
