Multiple e-mail accounts in Outlook 2003

M

Michael Rich

I'm currently using OE for my personal e-mail (POP3/SMTP) and Outlook 2003
for my corporate email (Exchange). I'd like to get rid of OE.

Does anyone have any good tips for managing separate accounts in Outlook
2003, or can they point me to a good resource?

Thanks;
Michael

If you are looking for something like Identities in OE you can use
mailprofiles for this in Outlook. To create extra profiles go to;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles-> button Add...

Hi,
It's realy easy to set up different accouts in outlook.
If you go under ->tools->e-mails accounts, you can add as many account as you want

The problem I'm having with this feature, is that my POP3 e-mails the one that comes from my ISP account are now delivered in the same inbox as the Exchange e-mails. My hotmail account does not suffer that problem though

When you add an account, you get to pick where in your Outlook it will be delivered, if I pick personnal folder, my POP3 goes in there (which is what I want) but it changes the Exchange also, the exchage e-mails are also moved to the personnal folder inbox. The other way around is also true

I can give more details about setting up different accounts, but if anyone has an answer to my problem, I'd like to hear it
thanks
Frenchie
