Multiple display, show linked word document

I am using the multiple display feature to show notes on one screen and a
projector showing the slide show view. I have a link to a word document in
one of the slides and when I click the link the word document does not
display on the projector, only on my monitor. Is there a way to fix this so
that the linked document will display on the monitor?

Hi twood

You need to tell Word in advance that you want it to display on the second
monitor/projector by opening it and moving it to that monitor before you
start your slide show. In order to move the Word window you will need to
display it as not full screen (restore down button), move it to the 2nd
monitor, maximise. You can then close Word if you want.

In the control panel I have selected configure independently from each other
and one is the laptop, the other is the projector. This does not allow me to
move the document to the other monitor as a separate device.

Hi

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but having re-read you first post I
think we may be speaking at cross-purposes here. I thought you were talking
about presenter view (in which case the setting I would use is "extend
desktop"). Is this the case? Can you take me through your setup? What video
card, were you went to set up mutli-monitor etc
