Multiple cmd windows open on admin logon

i'm working with win2000 server domain controller. when i logon as admin i
get multiple cmd windows opening titled "winnt/system32/net.exe" then they
disappear. this causes the applications running on a terminal server to
lose data connection with pervasive sql running on the d/c. it was
suggested that it could be a logon script however the cmd "net user
administrator" show no logon scripts. i'm not sure where to go from here.

thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Look in the Startup folder and the Run startment in the
registry for anything that doesn't belong.
