Multihome a wins server

Hi

I have a win2k wins server running fine. I wish to run
backups on my servers on a seperate network card using
private IP addresses, to hopefully ease traffic.

I have heared bad things about multihoming wins servers.
Can anyone enlighten me if I will be safe or will wins
start to under perform?

hi Michael,

Wins works just fine on multihomed servers. On the other hand if you
multihome your domain controllers you could experience browsing problems.
