Multi Window Explorer at Boot-up (7 windows)

Hi, Recently, (about 6 months) I have been getting 7 windows opening of
Explorer (not internet) when the computer is started up (switched on). Using
window XP Pro, SP2 installed.
I don't know why it has started doing it, and have checked in the start
menu, and found no reference to explorer.
I have done a virus scan and checked with Spy-bot and Adaware, nothing come
up.
So all I am doing now is shut each one down after all is complete at start-up.
I have looked at everything that I am comfortable to play around with, and
now at a loss as to where to look, and stop this from happening.
Any ideas Please

You might try a utility to see what runs on startup. My favorite is:
AutoRuns for Windows v8.61:
