Those of you that have a multi-core processor, can you slow-down by disabling
one of the processors? Is there some other way of slowing-down besides using
a slow-down utility that keeps the processor busy?

Open the task manager and set the affinity of each process to the same core.
I don't know if this would slow it down but it's the only thing I can think
of. I would be worried about overheating that area of the CPU though.

Slow-down utilities heat-up even a single core processor! I wish there was
some other way of slowing-down.

Remove the multi core processor from your PC. Install a Pentium 4, then you
won't have the heat issues and it will be slower.

Problem Solved. Just FYI.

Replace it with a slower processor.
Install a Celeron with crippled cache.
visit some porn sites and get infected enough to slow u to a crawl.
If you need it slow, why did you buy fast?
