Can XOSL be used to setup a dual-boot system with Red Hat Linux 9 and

Yes. Strictly speaking, it's not necessary as lilo/grub can dualboot, but
you can if you just happen to like XOSL better, or if you have plans to add
more operating systems later. The easiest way is probably to install both
OS's first, then install XOSL. As with any third-party boot manager, the
key is to keep all OS's *completely* independent from each other. If W2K is
installed first, choose wisely where you let RH install lilo or grub --
install it to the MBR if you want lilo/grub to control the dualbooting, or
install it in the linux root partition if you'd rather leave the MBR to
XOSL.
