I have a 20 gb hard drive partitioned into C:, D:, and E:
drives. Windows 98 and everything else is installed on C:.
Nothing is on D:. A backup image of C: is on E: A Smart
Computing article states that "you should be able to add
WinXP to your computer with no trouble", "as long as you
have an upgrade copy or full version of the software (not
a trimmed-down OEM 'recovery' CD)". I am thinking of
buying and installing on the D: drive "WindowsXP Home,
Full Version, OEM". I would like to know whether I should
proceed with my thoughts or whether the Smart Computing
caveat applies equally to a "full version OEM". Thank you,
Rober
