Alright I have a 120gig hardrive... I partitioned it into 2 60gig hardrives.
1 is windows 98 and 1 is windows xp.Everything WAS working fine. Then I
upgraded my computer. Everything is new except for my hardrive. I assumed I
would just update the new drivers and be off. Well I was wrong :( Now my
Windows XP will not boot. When I click to boot xp it just resets back to the
selection screen again. Windows 98 still works though. So if anyone knows
what the heck is going on plz help me. Or if you need any clarification or
more info about my hardware etc. post on the board and ill give you some
more info. Thnx so much.

need to do a REPAIR install of XP, XP is way to picky about drivers to attempt the old 9x way of doing swaps IMO......do a clean
install and have a better chance of a stable system

alirhgt i will try that PFFT crappy XP lol. ill pst with the results

XP really doesn't like wholesale hardware changes...you will need to do a
repair install or a new install.

Yep. XP can't be moved as easily as 98. Microsoft needs a good hard kick up
the arse.
