Googling for "MuaCom" doesn't bring up anything except one French page
that I don't think will be helpful. What does a scan with a current
antivirus program (meaning a version not earlier than 2003 and using
updated virus definitions) show? What do you have running in the
background? Run your virus scan in Safe Mode. If the machine is clean,
100% virus and spyware-free, try doing a clean boot to Sherlock what
application is connected with MuaCom:

Clean Boot in Windows XP

Yes indeed, haven't found any info on that MuaCom thing ! That is very
surprising to me.
Will try your suggestion.
Had already done AV ( Kaspersky Personal Pro 4.5 with latest virus defs),
SpyBot S&D, AdAware, SpySweeper : no virus / trojan / adware detected at
all.

Thanks !

If you find out what it is, do post back. I'm curious.

Done text search on hard disk. Muacom appears in muangsys.dll on
c:\windows\system32 and on programs partition in MicroAngelo folder. Seems
MUA stands for MicroAngelo ( µ.angelo ...).
Will uninstall and see.

Thanks for letting me know, Pivert. Hopefully uninstalling/reinstalling
MicroAngelo will sove the issue.
