Mspaint will not open.

I have a problem I can not open up Mspaint. I get this message"Mspaint has caused an error in MFC42.DLL, Mspaint will now close. If you continue to experience problem try restarting your computer". I have restarted my computer every time and still I receive the same message. Is there any magica formula to enter to get Mspaint appear. Will appreciate response to this problem. Thanks

although involves Paintshop Pro it explains why this file can be corrupted
or overwritten. You may be able to fix your problem by running System File
Checker by typing
SFC /Scannow

into the Run box on your Start menu.
