MSPaint Problem!

Jaymee

I have another problem. It's small, but I really need
it. When I go into MSPaint, I cannot open any image files
other tham bmp nor can I save them in any file other than
bmp. All my pictures are jpegs and I need Paint to be
able to open both. HELP PLEASE!

Thanks :)

This only works if you have Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word
installed. These add some filters to MS Paint and change the registry
so MS Paint can understand JPEG files.

If you do have these programs but you still have no jpeg support:

If you don't have these programs and you'd like to install the filters
separately:

There are dozens of small graphics programs that understand JPEG files
and are easier to set up. IrfanView and XnView are two good free
choices.
