.msp files in temp

There are 4 large .msp Windows Installer Patch files in my temp folder.
Sizes range from 1 MB to two at 23 MB. Are they required? If not, why are
they still there?

Also, there is a control.xml file and a setup_wm.exe file. What about them?

Hi David,

Provided you have rebooted since installing them, they are no longer needed
and can be deleted. Sometimes install routines do not clean up after
themselves very well.
