MSO CACHE

Hello group
I am trying to trim down the load of my C drive by removing seldom
used wares and files but was stumped about MSOCache as I have no idea
what is this file for, or if its really important.
I know that this had something to do with the Office application but
not sure about it about its importance in theCdrive.
Could somebody explain to me the purpose of this file and can this be
removed or transferred to the D drive and would it not affect the
performance of my installed Office 2007 Enterprise edition.?
TIA

If you need to change any features in "Office" it will use that folder...
If you move it you *might* be able to browse over to it if needed...
but I'd leave it alone

thanks for your input...
I am just worried that the size of the my C drive is decreasing with
the back ups that has been done the moment that I uninstall and
install another software.
Is there a way how to trim down these files.
The file size of my C drive is just 20 gigs but the declared size of
used space is more than 18 gigs.
The program files is just around 5 gigs.
Which means that its not the installed programs that are gobbling up
space but something else.
I am at a loss also how to find what other stuff are these 13 gigs
and are these important or can these be removed or transferred safely
to the D drive.
I want to occasionally defrag this drive but it needs 25% IIRC to make
that happen.
TIA.
